Local-first · Bring your own keys · Windows
Hire your AI growth department.
Machinai decides what to work on, makes the content, and tells you what actually earned. It runs on your computer, with your own API keys — so there's no credit meter, and your work never leaves your machine.
- No credits or per-render fees
- Your data stays on your disk
- Nothing publishes without your click
What it does
Most AI tools wait to be asked. This one shows up with a plan.
A writing assistant is only useful once you already know what to write. The hard part of growing something alone isn't producing the post — it's deciding which post is worth producing this week, and then still having the energy to make it.
A cofounder, not a chat box
Every morning it reads your goals and your numbers, then hands you a short list of decisions. You approve or dismiss. It does the work behind whatever you approved.
Strategist and coach
A running strategy for the thing you're building, with weekly plans and daily check-ins that adapt when the numbers move — or when you tell it what you already did.
One idea, every format
Turn a single idea into posts, graphics, and short-form video without rewriting it five times. Your brand kit and voice carry across all of them.
Video that renders locally
Script to voiceover to timed captions to a finished vertical MP4, rendered on your own machine. No credits, no queue, no per-render fee.
Research that becomes a backlog
It watches the accounts and keywords you care about, surfaces the outliers that actually broke out, and files them as ideas you can promote into production.
Optimised for dollars, not views
Connect where the money lands and it ties revenue back to the work that caused it — so the next recommendation is about what earned, not what trended.
How it works
Three moves, then it keeps going on its own.
Tell it what you're building
Point it at your site or your channel. It reads your brand, drafts a growth profile, and asks the handful of questions it genuinely needs answered.
It brings you decisions
Not a blank canvas — a ranked short list of what to do next, with the reasoning attached. Approve the ones you agree with. Dismiss the rest; it learns from that too.
It does the work, you ship it
Scripts, graphics, and rendered video come back ready to review. Nothing publishes until you click publish. Then it watches what happened and adjusts the plan.
Why local-first
It's an app you install, not an account you rent.
Machinai is a desktop application. The database, your footage, your renders, and your analytics live on your disk. You connect your own AI provider key and pay that provider directly, at their rates.
- No credit meterRendering happens on your hardware. Draft twenty variants of a video without watching a balance tick down.
- Your keys, your keychainProvider keys are stored in your operating system's credential manager. We never hold them, because there's no server of ours for them to sit on.
- Nothing posts behind your backPublishing is one click, made by you. The AI can prepare the post; it can't decide the world should see it.
- Yours if we disappearA local database and files on disk don't stop working when a startup pivots. Your library is a folder.
Questions
The things people ask first.
What is Machinai?
Machinai is a desktop app that acts as your AI growth department: it decides what to work on, writes and designs the content, renders short-form video, and tracks what actually earned money. It runs locally on your own machine rather than as a hosted service, and it uses your own AI provider keys.
How is this different from an AI chatbot or a writing tool?
A chatbot waits for you to know what to ask. Machinai starts from your goals and your analytics, then brings you a short list of decisions each day — which idea to make, which platform to post to, what to fix. You approve or dismiss; nothing publishes on its own. The writing, design, and video work happen downstream of that decision, inside the same app.
Do I need my own API keys?
Yes. Machinai is bring-your-own-key, so you connect your own AI provider account and pay that provider directly for what you use. Keys are stored in your operating system's credential manager, never on our servers. The upside is that rendering video and generating drafts have no per-item fee from us, and you are never metered on credits.
Does my data leave my computer?
Your projects, scripts, footage, renders, and analytics live in a database on your own disk. The only data that leaves is what you explicitly send to the providers you connect — your AI model provider, and any platform you choose to publish to. There is no Machinai account holding your content.
Which platforms does it support?
The first release is a Windows desktop app. macOS is planned but is not part of the initial launch. Publishing is click-to-approve rather than fully automatic, so you review every post before it goes out.
What does the waitlist get me?
Waitlist members hear first when the download opens, and the founding cohort is invited from the list before any public launch. Joining costs nothing and does not commit you to buying anything.
How much will it cost?
Pricing has not been announced yet. Because Machinai is bring-your-own-key, whatever you spend on AI usage goes to your provider at their rates rather than to us as marked-up credits. Waitlist members will get the pricing details before the public launch.
Get it before everyone else.
The download opens to the waitlist first, and the founding cohort is invited from this list. One email when it's ready — nothing in between.
